Here is a great sounding and playing used exotic 5 string bass. This one is a U.S. handbuilt Citron AE5 model that features a 2 1/2" thick highly resonant Mahogany hollow body with a Spruce top and a high gloss finish. The 35" scale Mahogany/Curly Maple bolt-on neck has a 22 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard with a real sleek fast feel. The pickups are the passive custom blended Citron humbucking "soapbar" type and individual Piezo bridge saddles. The magnetic pickups are run through an 18-volt EMG 3-band eq. system and the piezo pickups are run through a separate EMG 2-band eq. system system. The piezo pickups can be blended with the magnetic pickups or they can be used by themselves for an incredible sounding acoustic tone.
